The networks that carry your calls and data run on Nokia gear in many countries. The Nokia phones you can buy today are made by HMD Global, a Finnish company that licenses the Nokia name for mobile devices.

The fundamentals haven't changed - durability, good signal, doing the basics right. But the execution has transformed. What was best practice in 2020 may not apply in 2025, and that's especially true in phones. The Nokia of ten years ago and the Nokia of today are different animals. Both are worth understanding, just in different ways.

What Does "Nokia Unlock" Actually Mean?

This is the #1 reason people end up at our counter, so let's get it right. There are two completely different things going on:
